After the Baccalaureate 1989 – 1992 apprenticeship as a goldsmith at the National Jewellry School in Kaufbeuren/Neugablonz (D), calligraphy with Hermann Moser
1992 training as a gemmologist and Diamond grader at the German Gemmological Center in Idar-Oberstein
1992 – 1995 work as a goldsmith in Bonn and Cologne
1995 further training as a Diamond Grader of the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) in Vicenza (I)
1995 – 1999 own atelier for jewellry and design
from 1999 intense work on calligraphy
1999 – 2003 own atelier in the South of France
from 2003 in Basel at the Scriptorium am Rheinsprung

Trainings and Workshops with the following internationally recognized Artists and Calligraphers:
Wolf Hirtreiter, Hermann Moser, Jovica Veljovic, Gottfried Pott (D), Ewan Clayton, Denis Brown (GB), Brody Neuenschwander (B), Thomas Ingmire (USA) and, of course, Andreas Schenk (CH)
